- Determine a designer that meets both your needs and your design
Full Design
What your role is:

Explaining your plan and scope to the designer.

Selecting and approving materials

Approving schematics, drawings and selections
What Corefront’s role is:

Develop design estimate

Updates regarding the availability of materials and labour, building systems and possible economies

Recommendations regarding the scope of work packages to help facilitate the subsequent bidding and awarding of trade and supply contracts

Review specifications, drawings and make recommendations regarding clarity, consistency and constructability.

Assist in preparing bid documents for trade contractors

Assist in determining the contract security requirements of trade contractors

Prepare project schedule for your review
- Prepare schedule regarding and need of equipment or materials to be pre-ordered to meet the project deadline.
Pre Construction
What your role is:

Prepare your home for the renovation

Move to temporary quarters

Finalize contracts with Trade Contractors
What Corefront’s role is:

Prepare bid documents for Trade Contractors

Prepare contract security documents for the Trade Contractors

Prepare cash flow forecase for the project

Collect, assemble and distribute bid documents procurement phase

Communicate any changes in project scope or design to Trade Contractors of suppliers
- Review bids for completeness and coordinate all bid documents for the solicitation of competitive bids for work.
Construction
What your role is:

Meet your site supervisor

Attend regular meetings with Corefront

Communicate any questions or concerns to Corefront
What Corefront’s role is:

Communicate state date to Client and Trades
-
Chair regular project meetings
-
Organize and distribute all documents related to the performance and execution of the project
-
Facilitate all communication among the Client, Designer, and Trade Contractor
-
Provide interpretations regarding questions relating to performance of work relating to the project or any trade documents
-
Provide prompt communication to the Trade Contractors in regards to project scheduling
-
Investigate and inform the client, Trade Contractors and designers concerning all concealed or unknown conditions which are discovered.

Facilitate any change order request during the project construction

Give instructions necessary for the proper performance of work to each Trade Contractor during any dispute so as to prevent delays pending settlement of such dispute.

Facilitate any insurance claims that may arise during the project construction

Cost control and accounting

- Inform Client and Designer in writing when the work of each trade us ready for final review
Sign-off
What your role is:

Time to move back to your beautiful ‘new’ home
What Corefront’s role is:

Obtain and turn over to the Client all warranties, affidavits, releases, bonds, insurance and waivers

Turn over all keys and maintenance requirements
-
Provide final certificates for payment for each Trade Contractor
-
Prepare final construction cost report

Assist Client in conductions post-construction occupancy review
- Assist Client in administering warranties
