For instance hang your towel by the shower or bath somewhere where you can reach it. Then when you want to get out, dry yourself in the bath or shower before stepping out as this way you won’t be dripping lots of water as you do. If you dry your feet last and you have enough space then there’s no reason you can’t dry yourself almost entirely before you step out. You should also of course have a mat on the floor and be sure to replace this regularly if it is getting wet as this will help to soak up moisture. Wooden mats are particularly useful as they won’t soak up too much moisture and so this won’t later evaporate as steam into the bathroom. Another way to protect this new home renovation is to make sure that you are careful in the shower. Aim it away from the edge for instance, and then also make sure that you keep the shower screen in the correct position. If the shower screen stops working, or your tiles do start leaking downstairs, then a little sealant is your best friend and can be used to prevent any such dripping.
